{ scrappy sunday // Falling back in love }

Well, you guys, I am IN LOVE again! Totally falling back in love again with scrapbooking. 

Even though I lack confidence and I need to find my eye for design again. 

Still I am IN LOVE.

Bon, chers amis, c'est officiel, je suis à nouveau amoureuse du scrap! à vrai dire, je ne me souviens même plus pourquoi j'ai arrêté il y a un an!!
Même si je manque encore de confiance en moi et que je dois retrouver un œil pour les couleurs et les le design, je me suis éclatée à faire cette page et une petite sœur que j'ai finie à l'instant et que je vous montrerai plus tard.

Here is the first page I made after a whole year of break and it felt so good to pull out some of these Dear Lizzy Serendipity papers and some of my favorite Crate paper embellishements as well as the last sheet of white cardstock left over from last year!! I did a massive restock of white paper since, as well as a few other papers and stickers that are just so yummy! 

J'ai simplement pioché dans mes papiers et embellissements; un peu de Dear Lizzy Serendipity, un peu de mes stickers préférés de chez Crate Paper, du cardstock blanc, et voilà! je n'ai pas trop réfléchi pour le design de la page, c'était vraiment juste pour reprendre mes marques!

I did not do too much thinking for this page, I just had fun!!

I don't even remember why I stopped doing this?? Total amnesia!!

How did it happen?? Because this last week, making this page, and another one I will show you soon and that is a little bit more elaborate in my taste,  I felt so much joy. Scrapbooking  also helps me to feel  grateful about my life. It is just all good!!

{ Scrapbooking: I am back for good! }

 As I am totally in the mood to scrap, and before I can show you my first ever layout since last year (which is almost finished!) , I thought it would be nice to show you the very last 2 pages I made a year ago. 

 See the date: 01 march 2014! that was the last time I scrapbooked. It took me a whole year to feel the need to create again.

This layout was included in an article I wrote for the french scrapbooking magazine: "Esprit Scrapbooking" on how to scrapbook portraits creatively. 

{ very SIMPLE TUESDAY }

 Hello hello and please all my apologies in advance for the very poor white balance on my layout photo!!:) for some reason I can NOT get this right!

I just wanted to share a very simple layout made with the new Amy Tan collection , a glass and some ink!

I wanted to play with circles and put the emphasis on this photo of my kids reading together (rare moment of peace and quiet around here!!:) as I arranged the doilie stickers, I realized something was missing, so I painted the border of a glass with pink  ink and "stamped" it on the page!
I like the effect.

just added some drops of paint, stickers and buttons and I was done!

It was one of these days when I just needed to MAKE something in order to keep my sanity!

I guess we all need a bit of that:!

j'ai joué avec le bord d'un verre enduit de peinture et appliqué sur le fond de la page, juste pour faire écho aux autocollants et découpe "dentelles". 

Je m'excuse pour la balance des blancs sur mes photos qui n'est vraiment pas belle !

{ already??? / déjà ? }

Ok, I admit, I am not ready at all for this girl to grow old already!
And last month when she had her ear pierced, I admit, she was braver that me who found it hard at the time to hold my tears , as I saw her looking so grown up in the jewellery mirrors..

so I made a layout about it because I love these photos so much! she looks so proud of herself!

everything is American craft , Peechy Keen. I love the soft colors of this collection!
of course, like many of us I applied for their DT call!!! ahaha! what a joke!!
I have as many chances of getting in as to be hit by an asteroid!! but hey!! one has a right to try things out!!


just coming back from eating an icecream with kiddos! hope you are having a great day!!

une petite page avec les photos de la session boucles d'oreilles de la fille!!

tout est American craft , Peechy Keen. j'aime beaucoup les couleurs fraîches de cette collection!! scrapper avec ces papiers et embellissements c'est comme manger une glace ou un sorbet bien frais!! j'adore!!
évidemment, j'ai postulé pour leur appel de DT!! ahahahha! la bonne blague!! j'ai autant de chance d'être prise que d'être frappée par une comète!! mais bon !! on a le droit d'essayer!!!

allez on rentre juste de manger une de ces bonnes glaces, justement!!

et j'écoute ça en boucle!! ça me rend heureuse!! la chanson s'appelle "relator"!

{ Easter in june!/ Pâques en juin! }

It took me ages to find a design I would like to scrap our Easter photos!!
There were a lot of them but I liked them all and didn't want to set any aside!
in the end I came up with this design , and I like the end result!

I could fit my journaling , listing our Easter joys!
counitng blessings, again, makes me feel so happy....

Trying to catch a glimpse of the easter bunny running in the garden, behind the kitchen window comes in first!

On sunday , DH tries to take off the small wheels on my girl's bike!! too early baby!!

j'ai enfin trouvé un design qui me plaise pour scrapper mes photos de pâques!! enfin!!
Je n'arrivais pas à me résoudre à éliminer certaines photos et je voulais lister nos "joies de Pâques" (encore en train de compter mes petits bonheur..... décidément, ça me rend vraiment très heureuse!!)

rub ons Hambly (disponibles chez "bulle de scrap" notamment)
papier de fond: american craft sunshine

et mon homme a essayé d'enlever les petites roues de ma fille!!!!! trop tôt.....
