{ WILD PARSLEY PANTS / PANTALONS SAUVAGES }

dimanche 23 février 2014

When I received this fabric by Cloud 9 I knew I wanted to make pants out of it for my boy.
BUT.... I had never made pants before!
SO ! I searched for the perfect "Pant beginner pattern": I hesitated for a while between the Oliver + S art museum pattern and the Made by Rae Parsley Pants.
I read reviews and decided the Parsley pants would be more versatile and easy than the first one.

And it is ! so much fun to sew, so easy and well fitted.
I added the pouch pockets and flat front waist band that are available in the pattern.

I like that there are so many options available in the pattern that you can make simple pyjamas or very cool retro pants!

(feel free to click on the photo for a better view)

Initially the pants were supposed to be worn at carnaval on friday, as the theme is "africa" this year.
However my boy is so happy with it, he would not let go of it!

My first ever elastic waist!!

oh !! I adoooooore this fabric!!And it is 100% organic cotton!!

et le tissu est 100% bio! le rêve!

The facts:
pattern: Made By Rae digital pattern (in english)
fabric: Ad Emberley Happy Drawing Lions  and Dear Stella House Designer, Sunburst Stripe, Sunburst Stripe in Wheat  for pockets

Merci. @ bientôt.
