{P} INSPIRED

Today I have a post over at Scrapbook Circle blog where I am sharing a bit about about my creative process:

I have different ways of getting started with a layout :

1. The photo can be my first starting point and I create a design that will emphasize the photo itself and tell my story. I usually draw a sketch before I start.

2. I have some amazing papers in my stash and want to do something with them. I  try to use them in the most creative way. After drawing my sketch, I just enjoy!!

3. I find something that inspires me on Pinterest and start from there.

 That is my favorite way of creating right now.

This is how I created one of my layout from this month's gallery with the amazing DAYDREAMER kit. 

I saw this image on Pinterest and loved the neon colors combined with the wood pieces.

 I also loved the circles (you know I AM FOND of circles because they immedialty please our eyes). 

Then I found this amazing sketch: how arsty!!

I therefore combined both {P}insipring images to create this layout: 

 

The Amy Tangerine papers from the kit were perfect for this combo: I also used the Heidi Swapp paper corners , Alphas and rubbons to add sentiment to my page. 

 

The pegs are from my stash but they are one of my favorite items right now!

aujourd'hui j'ai un post sur le blog de Scrapbook circle et j'y explique les différentes façons dont je crée!

Moi je suis toujours curieuse de savoir comment les "grandes scrappeuses" créent leurs pages!

Je ne suis pas une grande scrappeuse mais je peux vous livrer mes secrets!

1. je pars de la photo et crée un design autour pour la mettre en valeur: j'observe les couleurs et choisis en général une combo de 3 couleurs seulement. je fais souvent un sketch avant de commencer mais celui-ci me sert parfois seulement de base. 

2. J'ai des papiers que j'adore ou que je dois utiliser pour mes créations de DT et j'essaie de les utiliser de manière créative. 

3. Je pars d'une image trouvée sur Pinterest: c'est le cas pour cette page faite avec le kit d'Avril de scrapbook Circle: Daydreamer. 

J'ai été inspirée par 2 images que j'ai combinées.
