{ what is your favorite sport ? scraptiffany challenge }

I am not a sports girl!
I hate to run, I am always too cold to swim!
Ok! until I had my children I used to dance, 12 hours a week! and that is why after 2 pregnancies I can still look at myself in the mirror without tears!
but anyway : I don't like sport!

so when Tiffany asked us to create a layout about sports, I was embarassed!!
my girl has just started skying, but we can't call it an addiction yet!
so I decided to make a layout about our favorite game!! Santa gave it to my girl and we have fun with this game: it is called "ouistitis" in french, which is a kind of monkeys!

it is easy (I mean designed for 4 years old!!) but we all have fun playing with it and DH will die rather than losing the game (who is 4 ???)
so here is my layout :

amis francophones bonjour!! le challenge du jour à Scraptiffany est de faire une page sur votre sport favori!!!! SPORT!!
mais je ne fais pas de sport! et à part le ski que ma fille vient de commencer , on ne peut pas vraiment dire que mes enfants font du sport!

j'ai fait beaucoup de danse avant mes grossesses , ce qui fait que je peux me regarder dans une glace sans pleurer aujourd'hui!! mais c'est à peu près tout en ce qui concerne le sport et moi! alors j'ai décidé de fait une page sur notre jeu favori du moment : les "ousititis"!! tout le monde est fan et out le monde semble avoir à nouveau 4 ans , surtout DH qui refuse de perdre coûte que coûte!!!
pour la page: des papiers crate paper , des alphabets american craft et une bonne dose de machine à coudre et de paper distresser!

I am back from yet another week in hospital for my boy!
I hope it was the last one EVER!!

I haven't got much to share scrapwise today.
Am working on a few projects, I can't share right now.

HI !! it is time for a new challenge at ScrapTiffany!
and we had to use metal or wire!! I can't use wire, I can't explain why!!
so I used studio calico kit Who's who : it contains these awesome my mind's eye Lost and found buttons!





I love this layout! I recorded in the small enveloppes all the words my boy can say at 16 months! I adore his voice, I adore his kid's words!!

aujourd'hui c'est un nouveau challenge à scraptiffany: utiliser du métal sur vos créations! pas facile!!
alors j'ai utilisé des boutons en métal sur la page! dans les petites enveloppes , j'ai recensé les mots de mon fils!! j'adore sa voix, j'adore ses mots jolis d'enfants!
tout le matériel vient du kit who's who de studio calico.

I have been published for the first time!!
this is sooooooooooooooo exciting! and in the fabulous entreartistes magazine!!



I couldn't be happier! being published was one of my 2011 wishes!!
so here you go!! be careful what you ask for: for god will grant it to you!!!
most of the supplies come from Magpie Club september kit! these kits are truly inspiring!! thank you Tara! It is thanks to you that I found the right colors and design for this layout!!

apart from that (I mean that would be enough for me but.... scrapbooking isn't the only thing in the world , saddly!!)
we have been having some fabric fun , creating an hair-band, which is an ode to Lizzy Kartchner!!






the girl is sick and very sulky so she only allowed me to photograph the band!!

and getting in a valentinish mood at home!!


mango and ginger muffins!!yummy ,trust me!!


my 4 year old girl made the hearts banner!!

bonjour!!! aujourd'hui est un grand jour pour moi!! je viens de recevoir le nouvel entreartistes magazine ! une de mes pages y est publiée!! ma joie est indescriptible!! sur de ne pas crâner!!:):)

à part ça (et oui ! il n'y a pas que le scrap en ce bas monde!!) nous nous sommes amusées avec du tissu , ma fille et moi! nous avons ajouté des fleurs à son serre-tête!
elles sont inspirées par la géniale Lizzy Kartchner !

comme elle est malade, ma fille, ne m'a pas tellement laissé la prendre en photo!
mais j'aime bien ces photos où elle boude (et dieu sait qu'elle boude!!!!)

nous sommes passé en mode saint-valentin à la maison (petite guirlande faite maison et muffins mangue-gingembre!!)

{ out of the comfort zone!! / sortirde la zone de confort!!}

this week-end was unusualy sunny for february!! where has the snow gone??

got the table and chiars out for my sweethearts:




we had LOTS of sulking sessions (gosh ! this girl is exhausting! but how much do I love her!!)



lots of sulking...

and art in the garden (art on paper and on her face too!!!!)


on the scrappy front:
not easy for me to get out of my "clean lines-crisp "layout comfort zone!

I got my first studio calico's kit (who's who) 2 weeks ago and had fun playing with it!
I wanted to try new techniques and designs!
here is the result!

I am quite happy with this first one:





The second one is not really what I hoped for but I enjoyed spraying mist and using paint!

I made a third one I love for the next ScrapTiffany's challenge : here is a peak!

alors voilà le résultats de mes essais patouilles ! j'ai tenté de sortir de ma zone de confort mais le résultat n'est pas toujours à la hauteur de mes attentes!
j'ai utilisé mon tout premier kit Studio calico: who's who!
j'ai fait 3 pages mais je dois dire que la deuxième ne me plait pas trop!
je vous montre juste un petit coin de la 3eme que j'adore et qui a été faite pour le prochain challenge de Scraptiffany! la page complète le 15!!

In the daily life of a young mother of 2 there are days you think you are not going to make to the end of the day, times you feel so helpless you just want to quit,
and times when everything brightens up, upon a small incident or a kid's word!!

this layout records one of these perfect moments of joy! ! I needed to record it!
it won't make much sense to you english speakers but trust me, we had a laugh!!


I got a huge bunch of goodies from American craft the other day!
they are the most generous people!!

so here is my layout using exclusively city park items and an ELLE's STUDIO journaling card!!

just coming back from hospital!
Had a hard time but baby boy is okay!

to forget about that , here is a layout I made for this week's challenge at scraptiffany !

that was a hard one for me!!
