I don't know if you are aware that in France we have one of the most awesome scrapbooking art journal magazine? it is "entreartistes" magazine, and it features artists such as Tara Anderson, Larissa Albernaz and the editor and creator is the fabulous Celine Navarro!!

Their blog gives you weekly inspiration and this week was all about winter!
so here is my take on the challenge!!



I layered papers from american craft city park and fabric strips!
had fun distressing the papers and spraying the bakground!!

My heart is breaking when I think that this funny boy is going to hospital next monday to have surgery.
My heart is comforted to think I will be with him for that week long experience, trying to make him feel secure!
I wish I could take the pain away for him so he could only be cured without pain.
please pray for us this coming week!

voici une page faite pour le blog du magazine "entreartistes ": le challenge de la semaine était inspiré par l'hiver!
je me suis amusée à travailler avec du papier et du tissu, à coudre et abimer!
un peu de pshitt et des tampons american craft, un peu de 3 D aussi! tout ce que j'aime!

cette semaine je serai un peu absente! mon bébé va se faire opérer! je suis anxieuse mais soulagée de savoir qu'il va être enfin soigné.

My computer was down thisweek!!
how do you survive without an internet connection!! I CAN'T ! got depressed and felt disconnected until DH pitied me and borrowed one from a friend! so here I am back on the web, happy and relieved!!

Today my boy put his hands on (no IN) paint for the first time!!
every time we do creative stuff qith kiddos I hope it might lead them do be great artists one day!
I would love them to have an artistic way of living!

{ Pocahontas and the captain }

How do you capture a Pocahontas running around the garden! impossible!! indeed!
This year I have decided to let my inner child out !
Went to Ikea and bought fun hats , a tent and tunnel for our kiddos!
How grateful they are!! their eyes shinning with pleasure as they go in and out of the tent which has become their little hidding place!

Today is sketch reveal at ScrapTiffany ! My second reveal as a DT member!
I am having so much fun with these challenges!

comment faire pour prendre en photos une Pocahontas courant dans un jardin!
impossible? PAR-FAI-TE-MENT!!

Cette année j'ai décidé laisser encore plus de place au jeu dans notre maison!
alors suis allée à IKEA (oh! mon temple!) ai acheté des chapeaux rigolos, une tente et un tunnel pour les enfants!! oh! leur joie de se cacher! adorable!! et Blandine est depuis une Pocahontas à temps plein!!

{ sweets ! }

This week-end we didn't do much; but we laughed ...


and ate the" epiphany cake" !! my girl was crowned queen of the day!

I got to go through lots of our christmas photos this week-end !
so many sweet memories!

looking at them now in gloomy january it is like finding yummy sweets you had forgotten in the back of a cupboard!! unexpected pleasure!

I got some great news on friday:I won the weekly challenge at American craft studio and got to choose an ENTIRE line of their products!! ( oh god! be still my heart!!!)
how awesome is that!I chose City park!

And I also learnt other exciting news! one of my goals listed on the layout will soon come true!!will share that soon!

There is this really cool line in "Eat Pray Love" by Richard from Texas who says you have to be careful what you ask for because God will grant it! "For years on I asked him to open my heart!" he says and he had to go through a major heart surgery ! so here you go!! I trust this line!!keep asking , be persistent in your wishes, make your life fit these wishes! and God will make them come true!

do you have a word for 2011?? I would live to read about it!

I often fall in love with american craft products!!
and here I go again with their fabulous "love" line!!
it is destined to be a valentine's line but I used it for other purposes!!


I made 2 layouts to celebrate the new year and say bye to 2010!!

I feel so good about my word: "Achieve", and hope it will bring great things to me !
but nothing can happen without a bit of will and a lot of dreaming!!

I am opening my arms and my heart to 2011!
chose my word: it is a verb, which means action!
there is so much I want to achieve in my personal life, as a mother, as a scrapper...

so I am saying Hello to 2011! welcome!

and to start of the year in beauty here is my first ever challenge as a DT!! woot woot! at scraptiffany!
the challenge was to lioft a layout or card from one of the other members!!
I was happily surpised to discover that 4 of my layouts have been lifted!!
how cool is that!! and here is my lift of one of sweet Sheri's layout:
