{ and then a loooong post to end the summer vacations .../ la fin des vacances }

That is right: this is the end of our long summer in our new home! It was full of different emotions and i loved it!

Here are a few things I want to share before going back to work tomorrow!!!

1. A layout I did for Magpie club August challenge: I thought I would not have time to complete it but coming back home from our holidays on sunday i took time to do it! I think I would have felt bad if I hadn't! I used these gorgeous echo park "a walk in the park" papers and some goodies from the magpie club august kit.

2. Here is a layout i did using Elle's studio journaling cards, sold at Jessica Sprague online store. I followed the whole "journaling class" offered by ELLE on her blog this august and loved it!!

I used the new Indie girl Sassafras Lass collection: it is just amazing!

3. Just wanted to share some picks from our holidays and a small video !! Just for the fun of it!!

I am so proud of who my kiddos have become!! My girl is turning 4 next week and we are having her birthday party tomorrow! she is so excited about having her friends around , and look forward to the cake and pinata! isn't she so lovely??

For this layout i used this amazing Jenny Bowling paper! you can sand it to reveal these beautiful butterflies. And i used this webster's page ribbon i just adore!
It a scraplift of one of Stephany Howell's pages! She is so talented!

AS for my boy , he is now 11months and wants to do exactly what his sister does, which leads to extremely tiring days for me!!
For this layout i was inspired by one of Elle's studio journaling class! Do go and visit their blog as they are hosting inspiring daily classes right now (click on the blinky on the left!!).
I used my new Magpie club august kit : lots of echo park papers! And don't you just love this butterfly?? it is the kind of treasures Tara always includes in her kits!!

We are leaving for Italy on sunday and I am so ready for a week by the beach!! i really need a change of rhythm and scenery!!

J'ai fait cette page sur Max avec mon Kit Magpie club. J'ai utilisé des papiers echo park collection summertime . Je me suis inspirée de la "journaling class" que l'on peut suivre sur le site de ELLE studio!

Pour la page sur Blandine, j'ai utilisé le papier de Jenny Bowling que j'adore, et je l'ai poncé pour faire apparaître ces adorables papillons.
Le ruban webster's page est à tomber par terre, non??

Voilà, demain c'est la fête pour l'anniversaire de Blandine ! je crois que j'ai autant hâte qu'elle!!

{ creative scrappers # 116 }

Hi every one!!
the sun is bak here in France and i could take shots of my take on creative scrappers sketch #116! i really struggled with this one because i wanted to use my new Jenny Bowling papers ! i usually use more colorful papers . So to give it a happy twist , i decided to use my sewing machine on the title and to create a banner.
Hope you like the result!

me revoilà avec une nouvelle page!! une page faite à partir du skecth 116 de creative scrappers. J'ai utilisé des papiers Jenny Bowling et pour ajouter une petite touche colorée et un peu fun j'ai cousu le titre et la bannière. La page évoque la complicité entre ma sœur et mon petit Max!! ces deux là ne pensent qu'à faire les fous!

There are 2 shots of the layout!! no!! i am not going mad!! it is just that one is taken under direct sunlight and the other one in the shade!! i find it gives a really different aspect to colors! don't you? ok! i admit i am a bit fussy about taken shots of my layouts!! ..... sorry!

here is my take on creative scrappers 115! i used the echo park summertime collection and a Elle's studio journaling card. I don't know if you noticed but the horizontal line is slightly tilted!
hope you enjoy it!! i am now going to work on the new sketch!! before going on holidays for a week in Italy!!! yahhhh!!

I am back from a trip in the south of France!! i ate so much garlic and olive oil i could scare the whole familie of vampires in Twilight!!


Bonjour!! aujourd'hui est un grand jour pour moi!!
J'ai gagné un concours de scrap ! sur Magpie Club! moi qui n'aie jamais rien gagné de ma vie!! même pas au loto de l'école!!
J'adore ce site: les sketches sont très beaux et Tara, l'hôtesse du site est une femme formidable! elle crée des kits splendides et pleins de petites trouvailles adorables!

Voilà!! je suis de retour du Sud où j'ai mangé assez d'ail et d'oignon pour effrayer toute la famille de vampires de Twilight! J'ai eu plaisir à retrouver ma famille! mais maintenant la rentrée approche et il faut se remettre au travail!!
alors !! au boulot!!.... euh... oui ... enfin....demain!

SI on m'avait dit qu'un jour je me mettrais à coudre, j'aurais ri de bon coeur!! mais voilà! je l'ai fait et le pire... c'est que j'ai adoré ça!!
Sous la pression de ma fille , j'ai accepté de lui faire un coussin fraise, dont j'ai trouvé le modèle dans cet adorable livre:

Tout est mignon dans ce livre et je crois que la maison retentira bientôt à nouveau du tchac tchac de ma machine!!

Pour ce qui est du scrap j'ai fait une page toute simple sur la dite petite fille!! dire qu'elle aura 4 ans dans 3 semaines... je suis à la fois anéantie et heureuse!!
Pour cette page j'ai utilisé l'adorable papillon rub-on de Jenny Bowling! du coup je voulais le reste plutôt sobre. Du glimmer mist, quelques papillons et des napperons "pshittés" et découpés! vous préférez la version avec ou sans l'étiquette rose???? je sais c'est un détail mais....

If one day someone had told me i would sew , i would have laughed really loud!!! but.. i did it, under my girl's pressure!! she sooooooooooooooooo wanted a strawberry pillow like one i found in this book:

everything is adorable in this book! so i think one will soon hear the chacachak sound of the sewing machine in the house!

As for scrapping i did this page yestersday about the said girl! gosh! she soon will be 4! I feel at the same time relieved and nostalgic!! isn't she pretty! i used the gorgeous Jenny Bowling butterfly so i wanted a clean design. I sprayed glimmer mist on doilies (turquoise is my favorite color this summer!) and and used Dear Lizzy paper.
Do you prefer it with or without the pink journaling card (well i admit it is a detail!!!!!!)

Next week i will spend some days in my family so it should be holidays for me! i will be back on friday!

{Time flies! }

GOSH where is July gone!!!
Well.. i have been busy recently , scrapping and looking after my lovely kiddos!

I wanted to share some layouts and a mini album i did !

• first the layouts:

This one is my favorite! i just ADORE this DELOVELY collection by Cosmo Cricket! isn't it just perfect for summer activities??! also used ELLE'S studio labels.




This second layout i made about my boy! i sprayed the background on top of a mask and used transparent paper that i printed .



Last but not least here is a mini album i did using the fantastic ELLE'S STUDIO summer 2010 DOCUMENTED : i bought it online, printed it and had a blast scrapping it!
I found the idea for this project on Sheri's blog : here. You can find a video made by Sheri about how she did her own mini album! it was soooooooo inspiring i couldn't resist! i bought the set and did it my own way although some ideas are inspired by Sheri! i rarely do mini albums but this time it was so much fun to do, and the tags and flags were so easy to use that i feel like starting again soon!
I used Echo Park summertime collection as well as some Dear Lizzy american craft products. The front page and the back page are covered with fabric. I glued pieces of these gorgeous Webster's page ribbons!
Here are some pics of my album! at the moment it hangs on my wall ! thank you Sheri for the inspiration!!

And don't forget that at ELLE's studio's blog there is a journaling class starting on the 8th of August !! it seems so much fun!! just click on the Blinkie on the top left to get linked!!

bonjour!! nous voilà déjà en Aout!!! arghhh!! stop! ça va trop vite!! j'ai été bien occupée ces derniers temps avec les enfants et un peu de scrap!

La première page est faite avec les adorables papiers DELOVELY de cosmo cricket et des étiquettes ELLE'S studio.

La deuxième est une petite expérimentation!! du spray, du calque imprimé, du transparent Hambly et une merveilleuse photo de mon petit bout!

Enfin le mini -album!! je n'en fais pas souvent mais je me suis amusée comme une folle pour faire celui-ci! j'ai utilisé ELLE'S STUDIO DOCUMENTED SUMMER 2010 que j'ai téléchargé, imprimé et décoré. J'ai trouvé l'idée sur le blog de SHERI : ici. Elle donne le lien pour trouver le kit et propose une leçon vidéo sur la façon dont elle a fait son propre mini. C'est adorable ! j'ai utilisé le kit à ma sauce , en utilisant les papiers Echo park summertime et des produits Dear Lizzy. J'ai recouvert la couverture et le dos de l'album de tissu! Bref! Je me suis fait plaisir!!
